You'd be sitting there taming something and think, "Yes! I want this to have high attack, so I'll only use some trex kibble on it ! " Something like this would make taming more fun and intuitive. Fish dino eggs could increase oxygen, phioma egg kibble could increase food stat, trike/stego/mammoth could increase carry weight stat. If you use Trex or spino eggs, you increase the attack dmg your taming dino will have! If you use one of the rarer found eggs, like sarco or titanboa, then you just decrease the time it takes overall to tame (which would increase the number of experience levels it would tame with). Why not make the recipes using the different types of eggs, have different taming effects!įor example: If you make egg kibble using raptor eggs or sabretooth eggs, you add the the movement speed your dino will have when done taming. For example, if you make kibble out of dilo eggs, you only get one egg-kibble, but if you use bigger eggs, you get more egg-kibbles, per egg used, since a Trex egg or Bronto egg is much larger than a dilo egg!Īlso, instead of having dinos favor kibble made from eggs of 1 kind of other dino, which isn't horrible, especially if the dino you want to tame wants the titanboa kibble or sarco kibble (sarcos are very rare). Making dinos favor egg-kibble made with eggs of certain other dinos, and then making egg-kibble pretty much replace prime meat for taming (yes, good for herbivores, but overall bad game mechanic).Ī FUN mechanic would've been for the eggs do different things when cooked. In my opinion, you guys went the wrong way with egg-kibbles!
